Puerto Rico Residents Tax-Free Fund V, Inc. (the "Fund"), a Puerto Rico unlisted corporation registered as a non-diversified closed-end management investment company under the Investment Company Act of 1940, as amended, announced today that, in connection with its ongoing review of options to provide better liquidity, value, and operational efficiencies for Fund shareholders, the Fund’s board of directors (the “Board”) is continuing to pursue alternatives to the Fund’s existing closed-end fund structure.
